Fire Life Safety Testing Information

Palermo Residents,

The in unit fire testing will begin on 4/12/2021 at 9:00 am. Unfortunately, the inspectors could not provide us with a schedule for what units will be tested each day. Please be aware that the alarms will be going off in all 230 units each time a unit is being inspected. This will make working from home very challenging because you will hear your devices sounding multiple times during the days of testing. The alarms can also be a concern for pet owners.

Do not tamper with the devices in your unit to attempt to silence them. Tampering with your in unit devices is illegal, and would compromise the safety of other residents because the devices are interconnected. All devices must remain connected to pass the fire inspection.

We understand that this in unit testing is a great challenge for many residents, and we wish there was an alternative approach for the inspections.
