Sound Transfer Unit To Unit

Posted By on January 26, 2024

There are typically one or more unit to unit sound transfer complaints in the building weekly. As you may know sound transfers very easily in a wood frame building. Walking, exercising, moving material, playing music etc. can all typically be heard by the surrounding unit/s. Sound transfer is generally not intentional and just being mindful that sound transfer does occur can help reduce it considerably. Some ways to reduce sound transfer are installing rugs, walking softly, wearing slippers vs shoes, exercising in the gym vs your unit. Anything that you can do to help reduce sound transfer is appreciated by everyone.
