Temporary Covid-19 Rules Updated

In accordance with recent orders issued by the Governor of California for counties on the state’s watchlist, which include San Diego County, the Palermo Board of Directors adopted new rules and issued new closures that became effective July 15th.

-Closure of the gym.

-Closure of the spa.

-Closure of club room and conference room.

-Masks are required in common areas except when sitting/laying down in the pool area. Residents must wear a mask in the pool area if walking around in the pool area.

A reminder that guests are not allowed in the pool area at this time.

BOARD SOLICITATION—Deadline is July 31st

The Annual Meeting and Board Election will be held in September. The Board consists of five (5) members. There are three (3) seats up for election, each for a two (2) year term. You must be a homeowner to run for your Board of Directors. If interested, please contact Management for additional info. Applications must be submitted by Friday, July 31, 2020.

Re-opening Amenities

The time has finally come…we are re-opening all amenities on Friday June 12th!

Safe re-opening plans are posted at the entrance of each amenity. Please review the plan for each prior to entering. As we navigate through this uncharted territory, the safe re-opening plans and temporary rules may change. This will be dependant upon changes to the guidelines issued by the County of San Diego and, your full cooperation and compliance as a community. We encourage all residents to work together to make this a smooth transition.

NEW LOCKBOX LOCATION

The location for lockboxes has been moved to the Cedar street garage entrance. Lockboxes can be attached to each side of the gate. If you have a lockbox on the gate on MG, please relocate it by June 30th. Lockboxes that are not relocated by then will be removed by Management.

Palermo Covid-19 Updates

  • Gym & Pool Closures: Palermo Owners Association is following same Covid-19 guidelines and recommendations set by the County. The gym and pool area will re-open when public gyms and pools re-open.
  • Kitchen Clogs: There have been an increased amount of kitchen back-ups and clogs in the building since the shelter-in-place order was issued by Governor Newsom. Management suggests placing stainless steel strainers over kitchen sink drains to alleviate back-ups and clogs (example in pic below).
