Balcony Maintenance

Below are some tips for balcony maintenance;

  • Sweep off dirt and debris monthly to prevent water retention.
  • Use water with a scrub brush and mild detergent for deep cleaning, ideally once or twice a year.
  • Clean walls, railings, and glass doors before mopping the floor.
  • Broom off all water after washing to prevent puddles. 
  • Remove visible debris from drain cover.
  • Always us a plant saucer under plants.
  • Use chair leg floor protectors.
  • Do not put any coverings on the decks such as rugs, or turf. The deck will retain moisture if anything is used to cover the deck surface.
