Piazza Palermo Owners and Residents:

In compliance with the State of California fire code, a mandatory annual inspection of the Fire Sprinkler system will be conducted in both Common Area and inside each unit of the building.,

Palermo’s fire inspection company, Symons Fire, will require access to every condominium unit for approximately five minutes for the mandatory fire inspection of sprinkler heads and fire alarms on Tuesday, November 3; Wednesday, November 4; and, if necessary, Thursday, November 5, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Access is required per CC&R Article 4.3.4 (Right of Entry and Enforcement), for the mandatory inspection and test.

Kindly note you are required to provide access to your unit for the entire timeframes noted as we have several units to inspect within a short amount of time. You will not be able to schedule an appointment for this service. If you are not home, a staff member will accompany the fire contractors during the inspections. They will begin from the top floor at approximately 8:00am and work their way down as efficiently as possible.

This testing and inspection is during business hours (8am-4pm) and is anticipated as follows:

Monday November 2nd, 2026, || 8am-4pm
Common Areas Only Fire Sprinkler Inspections/ Fire Alarm Testing
(Audibles may be sounding for the duration of the inspection)

Tuesday November 3rd, 2026, || 8am-4pm

Please be advised that if you have pets, small children, a medical condition, or important business to conduct, the alarm noise may warrant that you give this consideration when planning your day.

If your unit is not accessible for entry with a functional emergency key on file or by an adult providing access/providing a key, the Association will have to hire a locksmith for entry and the unit owner will be charged for the cost of gaining access or all costs associated with reinspection (approximately $200-$600).

If you have any questions, you may contact Morgan Cooper, the Association’s on-site General Manager at (619) 786-7497. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in maintaining our community!
