HOMEOWNER CONTRACTOR PROTOCOL
Posted By mcooper on July 1, 2025
- Elevator Use: Please notify Management at least one business day prior to the date that your contractor is scheduled to transport flooring/materials in the elevator so that we can pad the elevator to protect it from damage. To hold the elevator doors open for loading, please press the Hold button in the elevator and repeat as needed. DO NOT PLACE OBJECTS IN THE ELEVATOR DOORWAY. THIS CAN CAUSE THE ELEVATOR TO MALFUNCTION.
- Working Hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
- Parking: Contractors may park in guest parking with your guest permit displayed in a visible location (on dashboard or hanging on rear view mirror).
- Work Space: No work allowed in common areas. Contractor must pre-cut flooring materials or cut inside the unit or on the unit’s balcony/patio (if applicable).
- Debris/Trash: Must be taken off-site by contractor. Contractor must clean up behind themselves. Any debris/trash from transporting materials to and from the unit through common area must be cleaned by contractor at the end of the work day.
- Hire only licensed and insured contractors providing Management proof of a minimum of $1 million in general liability insurance before commencing work.
- The Association does not endorse any contractors. Management can however provide contacts for vendors with building experience who are fully licensed and insured. The responsibility of coordinating services with the contractor rests with the unit owners.
