NextDoor App for Residents

Dear Palermo Residents,

We’ve recently started a Palermo group on the free app NextDoor. Our goal is to allow residents to better connect with each other, and to start more frequent, informal get-togethers like book clubs, exercise groups, bar crawls…and anything else anyone suggests! Just click on this link to join, and feel free to introduce yourself to your neighbors once you sign in 🙂

Hope to see you there!

Respectfully,

The Palermo Social Committee

Trash and Recycle Chutes Temporarily Closed

The trash and Recycle Chutes are temporarily closed. Walk your trash to the dumpster rooms. Leave trash on the floor next to full dumpsters double bagged.

Allied Republic Trash Service Employees are on Strike. We will not have trash or recycling service for an undetermined amount of time.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THE TRASH OR RECYCLE CHUTES OR THEY WILL BACK UP AND CREATE AND AVOIDABLE DANGER TO THE STAFF. Please be sure to thank the staff when you see them.

We will store the bagged trash that is collected and travel to the dump.

We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Indoor Mask Requirement

The California Department of Public Health announced that starting Dec. 15,2021 everyone will need to wear a face covering in all indoor public settings, whether you’ve been vaccinated or not.

Check California Department of Public Health web site for additional information of the requirements, exemptions, and  https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/guidance-for-face-coverings.aspx

How masks help fight COVID-19

Many people who test positive for COVID-19 have no symptoms and could be spreading the virus to others without knowing it. A face covering blocks droplets when a person coughs, sneezes, sings or breaths. If someone is not vaccinated, they’re at higher risk of getting the virus then spreading it.

Thank you for your cooperation with this requirement.
