Remove Doormats in Hallways of Units Without Coves

In Chapter 10 of the California Fire Code it prohibits
obstructions that prevent evacuation in the event of a
fire. Door mats can be a tripping hazard, they interfere
with floor cleaning, and can be liability to the owners.
Please remove your door mat if it is in the hallway, and if
you do not have a cove entrance to your unit.

Thank you for your cooperation on these building
requirement.

Cleaning Coves at the Entrance of the Units

Residents that have a cove entrance to their units are
required to keep them clean. In Exhibit B Maintenance
Chart in the Association CC’R it states that “exterior
doors on the exterior boundaries of a residential unit is
the owner’s responsibility.” The coves extend to the
hallways, which is where the exterior boundaries are
identified. If your unit does not have a cove, and opens
directly to the hallway, please disregard this
requirement.

Thank you for your cooperation on these building
requirement.

Lobby Floor Deep Cleaning

Please be advised on Thursday, March 11, 2021, we will be cleaning the lobbies floors for the quarterly schedule. First Ave and Front Street lobbies will have limited access. The request has been made to block off sections of the lobby to allow access for going in and out. If possible, please choose alternate routes.

Thank you

Increased Security at Vehicle Gates

There has been increased unauthorized entry with intruders following people through the vehicle gates. Do not walk through vehicle gates, use the designated pedestrian gates.

After entering the vehicle gates, wait until the gate completely closes to proceed to your parking spot, and report individuals that enter through the vehicle gate.

Construction on Beech Street

Dear Piazza Palmero Owners and Residents;

Many of you have noticed the constructions taking place on Beech Street. The crew is replacing a gas line that services multiple buildings including Palermo. Unfortunately notice was not received from the City by Management. Management has spoken to the foreman in charge of the project to request a timeline. They estimate the heavy work to be finished on Friday February 19, 2021. The project will be completed by end of next week. During the replacing of the gas line services will not be interrupted. There is a traffic control that will assist you in getting access to the Beech St. Garage.

Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you.

Have a great day,
